The tree ignored me completely.
August 11th, 2009
I went after sunrise when it was light; it was too late. They, the subtleties, would not commune with me, nor I with them. I left incense and water, and we went our separate ways. They had already left; it was too late.
This is the lesson, about the Brahmamahurta, the time of transition between night and day. It is true. I have felt it through its absence. There was emptiness. The magic had departed and only biology remained. The tree ignored me completely. I felt that it ignored me. “You are too late. The time has gone. Go about your business. The plants, too, work by day – they have no choice, as soon as there is light, they must work.”
