The traverse we make in a lifetime is composed of the mundane and the dramatic, the repetitive and the singular, the wanted and the unwanted. Certain episodes stand out in darkness or in light, others are pastel in their familiarity and seem less important. The moments we remember are beads of various colour, size, texture and shine, threaded together by the necessity of non-events which form the basic structure of our days and years.
