Sydney, then India

Instead of a tree, Central Park in Sydney’s Broadway mimics the vertical botany of cliffs and tree trunks in nature.

23rd November, 2009

Tomorrow, I leave for Sydney, then India. I felt that the tree gave me its blessing, that it said thank you and that it will miss me. Now these sound like projection, and maybe they are. I felt that the tree offered love and protection, and I felt the universality of trees. This one cannot go anywhere, while I can roam; but everywhere I go, there will be trees.

I assured the tree that I will return. The ritual creates these feelings and connections, by whatever means.

(No more posts until December 30th when I’m home from travels).
