Birds are the Voice of Trees
20th November, 2009
The birds are the voice of trees. The tree is quiet, steady, and constant. The birds sing out, telling one another this and that, passing on the news, linking distances between trees, telling stories that travel on air.
The ground is drying out now. Everything has changed. We have made it through the epic winter and rain, the deep cold at our toes is simply gone – it is no more. The transformation has occurred and continues. The parade of flowers goes on.
The tree holds arching branches over me, it reaches wide, giving shelter – to birds, to flowers, to me.
