Get on with it!

Speaking of flowers, these lupins and friends growing by the road enchanted me as I rode my bike in Norway.

September 16th, 2009

Wet again! The stepping-stones are now overgrown with daffodils, and the path with yarrow. Somehow, I found a way through the soggy leaves to the tree. Although it was quite early, it’s already daylight.

All the tree would say was, “Get on with it.”

Alright, I said, I’ll get on with it. Of course, it was an apt message. My daughter has been back a week, we talk all the time, and laugh and plot and plan. Before she came back, I had a visitor, so I’ve been tired, a little disconnected from work, struggling to do the orderly, organisational things.

            Get on with it!

            Clear message….
