Helen’s Hothouse

I live in Tasmania. A few years ago, I turned sixty, and decided it was time to build a hothouse. Turning sixty focuses the mind as the years ahead become so much fewer than the years behind. In the years behind, I’ve wasted a lot of time nurturing tomatoes that start ripening just as the weather turns too cold for tomatoes to ripen. It’s annoying.
