The experience of wind unites all beings

Known as Naked Ladies due to the lack of leaves, they reappear every year and their fragrance perfumes the breeze.

20th February, 2010

It has been very hot. The dawn wind on my skin was a joy, its freedom of movement and the way the experience of wind unites all beings and objects that experience it together – the tree and I both had the ruffled, restless, careless air washing over our skin, defining our form, creating sensation.

Ha ha! We laughed together, for it was a laughing breeze and the scent of Naked Ladies got caught up in it, as they shuddered and pranced on those singular extended leg-stalks. I think nothing is pinker than a Naked Lady, the scent being entirely pink also.

United by wind, we were, the Ladies and me.
