In the moment, without resistance
An old friend I love to visit - pencil pine* leaning into Lake Dobson, Mt Field National Park - century after century, she’s in the moment without resistance.

I was late to bed and late to rise and late to the tree. Nevertheless, I went.
The morning is cool and grey, very gentle, and quiet. There is an energy of shift in the seasons. The tree is in that mode, how smoothly she enters change, always in the moment without resistance.
Her amazing leaves are in their maturity and will soon be old. They know that.
