Between the sun and the earth

Trees protect us.

I was a bit late. The sun is already bright and hot. Even at this early hour, it shines with great force.

The power and heat of the sun is immense. It is the trees that protect us. They come between the sun and the earth, enabling life. They filter its overwhelming rays, shielding us from the burning eye in the sky. They even process the light, they consume it, though it is endless, and transform it into matter.

The sun has become too hot. There is something amiss and nature knows it.

We need more trees. They are the protectors.
