At the time of a death
Driftwood becomes home to new life - mussels nestle in the grooves, washed by tides and warmed by sun.

At the time of a death there is a sudden shift/change/gap in the energy around us. The energy field has to adjust. At first it is felt as a disturbance, and an emptiness is there. Gradually the remaining energies realign in the absence of the one who has gone, and wholeness is reasserted.
A tree’s energy is contained in one place. A cat moves about a small area, the garden, and is related to those in that zone. A person moves about widely, there is much interaction. The effects of presence and absence are therefore relative.
